Our client McDonalds Australia Limited a global franchise restaurant is currently seeking to employ a dedicated 1st Assistant Manager to join busy McDonalds restaurants around Australia.

Additionally, you will be responsible for building sales and control costs with the aim of delivering optimum business results.

Conditions of the Job:
As the 1st Assistant Manager you will be responsible for the areas of a Second Assistant as well as the following, but not limited to:
- Lead and manager people in your crew
- Conduct training of the crew, trainee managers and second assistants on Workplace Safety policies and procedures and security
- Manage and implement the restaurant training system including Certificate II and Certificate III
- Provide a sate working environment
- Implement the restaurant’s recruitment and retention plan
- Conduct regular crew meetings
- Assist in complying and presenting performance reviews based on defined goals and objectives for crew and assistant managers
- Conduct management meetings in the absence of the restaurant manager
- Model performance standards for all crew and managers
- Gather customer feedback and identify patterns and trends, initiating specific actions to improve customer satisfaction
- Maintain Quality Service and Cleanliness levels in the restaurant at all times
- Develop and implement restaurant extensions of national promotions
- Respond to changes in volume patterns and promotional activities and make adjustments as needed to ensure operational standards are maintained
- Enforce and coaching others on all
- Undertaking risk assessment where the absence of these could pose a risk to personnel health and safety
- Undertaking inspection and testing on plant and equipment
- Manage financial resources
- Administer Human resources policy
- Complete and analyse the restaurant
reports and complete actions plans.
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Minimum 3+ years experience as a First Assistant Manager working previously at McDonalds restaurant
- Proven experience leading, training and supervising large restaurant staff
- Experience within a high volume environment
- Excellent communication skills in the English language both verbal and written. Must have a passed IELTS with a minimum score of 5 in all bands
Conditions of the Job:
- Location is in various outlets of McDonalds around Australia
- Salary will be AUD$26.02 per hour for 38 hours per week plus superannuation 9% with the opportunity to do overtime, and 4 weeks annual leave per year.
