Global technology company is seeking a highly motivated professional Business Development Analyst who is passionate about technology and customer engagements.

acQuire provide geoscience data management software and services for the mining industry. Our software is paired with product support services and accredited training to meet our customer’s evolving technology needs. Founded in 1996, acQuire originated in Perth, Western Australia. The company currently has five offices around the globe, with customer support centers operating in each major time zone.

acQuire needs a Business Development Analyst to join the team based in Perth. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for;

• Growing the pipeline, developing the opportunities and closing the business
• Expanding the utilisation of our technology by communicating and presenting acQuire software solutions
• Understanding the customers needs and communicating the value proposition to all customers
• Proven skills related to chase opportunities, ability to engage different levels of customer’s organisation
• Being disciplined, persistent, capable to follow up opportunities and close deals
• Taking ownership and sustainability of company culture

What we need from you:

• 3+ years’ experience in technology sales, preferably with tertiary degree/qualification in business or technical fields
• Preferable to have working knowledge of the mining and exploration industry
• Ability to travel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Proven negotiation skills
• Be a strong team player, be highly motivated and a self-starter
• Possess a creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box

This role is for the person that loves to be busy has a strong commercial focus and a consistent track record of increasing customer base and market share. You will be required to perform all aspects of business development from prospecting and pipeline management through to negotiating and closing new business.
