You will report to the Value Stream Leader for Mining, and be based at our head office in Perth, Australia. The Product Manager will primarily focus on the execution of product strategy, from design through to delivery, for multiple Business-to-Business vertical market software products focused on the geoscientific space of mining. As a key facilitator in the entire product lifecycle, the Product Manager will ensure that all stakeholders participate and contribute to product design and delivery in a consistent repeatable process, with the intent to build, evolve and maintain world leading enterprise software. The Product Manager will ensure that sufficient emphasis is placed on product design to bridge the gap between business strategy and end user- needs, technical development teams in a dynamic, multi-product environment

- 10+ years experience working for a software company in the software technology space
- 5+ years experience in software product management
- Demonstrable track record in managing the “whole-of-product” process
- Strong combination of business and technical acumen, with exposure to handling trade-off decisions
- Values the importance of design thinking principles and its importance to user-centric software
- Operates from a point of curiosity, adaptability and leverages data to inform product decisions
- Academic background in Information Systems, Software Engineering, Technology Management, Project Management and/or Product Management
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, to all levels of the organisation and customer
- Experience in facilitating collaboration within, and across, multiple teams as well as externally
