Our current opportunity

In light of our continued growth, Civmec is currently seeking applications for an experienced Commercial Manager to join our Construction Business Unit. Based in Henderson WA and reporting directly to our Executive General Manager, the successful applicant will oversee all related commercial and contract matters across Australia for project and works within the business unit.

Key accountabilities include:
  • Developing a culture of continuous improvement including corporate compliance
  • Key stakeholder management including clients, suppliers, direct reports and executive team
  • Oversee project delivery including head and sub-contracts management
  • Tender support, contract establishment and risk management as required
  • Project review including auditing, reporting and risk mitigation
  • Train and support project teams in the administration of contract/commercial systems and processes
  • Weekly/monthly reporting and risk register maintenance
  • Claims management and negotiations
You will:
  • Possess a qualification in commerce, business, quantity surveying or equivalent
  • Have the ability communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrate experience managing multiple projects with superior leadership skills
  • Be a motivated, self-starter with a commitment to supporting the businesses growth
