Position: Manager Business Development

Civmec are looking for people who are flexible, mobile and aligned to the Civmec's values to work with us to grow our business. We are seeking to speak with Strategy and Development Lead for a position based in Newcastle or Sydney.

 About you

•  Previous project experience on fabrication and installation projects ideally within the resources and industry sectors.
• Be able to develop win strategies for key targets
• Developed network of key industry contacts
• Tertiary degree with an extensive (circa 10 years) background in Business Development
• Proficient knowledge in MS Office suite is essential
• Be confident and experienced in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Able to work autonomously

Key accountabilities will include:

• Developing, maintaining and growing new and existing client relationships
• Proactively update and maintain the Civmec Client Relationship Management / Work Winning System
• Prepare compelling Project Go / No Go Assessments
• Support the Bid review process and providing input
• Providing technical writing on specific pre qualifications, expressions of interest and tenders
• Promoting the Civmec brand and capabilities to secure new work and scope extensions
• Tracking and reporting on bid status and likelihood of award
• Strategic planning and budget forecasting
• Develop win strategies for key targets
• Provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports as directed
