Position: Business Development Advisor

Civmec are looking for people who are flexible, mobile and aligned to the Civmec's values to work with us to grow our business. We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Business Development Officer based in our Sydney office.

 About you

•  Previous project experience on fabrication and installation projects ideally in the mining, oil and gas sector
• Possess a wide network within the infrastructure sector and demonstrate a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
• Be able to develop win strategies for key targets
• Tertiary degree with an extensive (circa 10 years) background in Business Development
• Proficient knowledge in MS Office suite is essential
• Be confident and experienced in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain company standards for Quality Assurance purposes
• Present neat documentation, correspondence and records as requested
• Be able to work autonomously

Key accountabilities will include:

• Driving business objectives for revenue growth of the Newcastle fabrication facility
• Creating business opportunities through the active engagement of potential clients
• Working closely with Business General managers, you will have an active involvement in project and bid development and coordination of tenders
• Regular reporting and updating of all activities specific to the Eastern Region
• Representing the Company in a positive and professional manner, you will be responsible for strengthening our exciting customer relationships whilst developing new opportunities for the Company
