Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and supervising a fabrication team, including performance management, safety management, workflow management, task execution and leadership.
- Assist and oversee the planning and organisation of fabrication work in the workshop ensuring job completion within time constraints
- Develop and review documentation necessary to facilitate work carried out
- Prepare personnel rosters and timesheets
- Conduct weekly toolbox meetings
- Liaise with client representatives/Project Engineers regarding technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and coordinating deliveries
- Conduct regular inspections on buildings and materials to ensure that works are carried out according to client specifications
- Understand and implement quality control techniques
- Perform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directed
- Maintain company standards for Quality Assurance purposes
- Present neat documentation, correspondence and records as requested
- Provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports as directed

Essential
- Recognised Australian Trade Qualification (Boilermaking, Metal Fabrication or Plateworker)
- White Card/Blue Card
- Working at heights & Confined Space
- Basic Dogging and Basic Rigging tickets
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a similar role
- Minimum 5 years proven experience performing fabrication works in a workshop environment
- Proficient knowledge in MS Office suite
- Developed interpersonal skills
