We are seeking an experienced checker to become part of the Team at our new facility in Tomago, Newcastle to monitor and review fabrication drawings to ensure Company standards for quality assurance.

Key responsibilities:
- Compare dimensions on drawings to dimensions on completed fabrication material using measuring instruments
- Identify changes in drawings to fabrication material
- Working to the Quality Management System procedures and work instructions
- Take timely corrective action to address any issued non-conformances
- Perform other general duties to suit operational requirements as directed
- Maintain company standards for Quality Assurance purposes
- Present neat documentation, correspondence and records as requested
- Provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports as required
- Perform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directed
- Metal Trade Certificate
- At least 3-5 years’ experience as a checker
- Experience in a Fabrication workshop environment
