In light of our continued growth, Civmec is currently seeking applications from highly capable and experienced Carpenter’s for current and future opportunities in our newly developed Newcastle Precast facility.

Our site will include a custom precast facility with over 12,000 m2 of floor space as well as a 20,000 m2+ fabrication and 5,000m2 custom paint shed. Our products will service the booming infrastructure market within NSW and more broadly, the east coast of Australia.

We’ve had strong growth in the last 9 years, and we are looking for the next wave of personnel to join us on our journey.

Key Duties are likely to include:

• Mark and line out formwork
• Erect and disable formwork
• Interpret drawings and specifications
• Perform other general duties as required

What can I bring
• Recognised Australian Trade Certificate (Carpentry & Joinery) is essential
• Previous knowledge of precast concrete works and steel fixing are essential along with a solid understanding of form work carpentry
• Valid White Card/Construction Card
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in the construction, mining and resource industries is preferred
