Our current opportunity
In light of our continued growth, Civmec is currently seeking applications from highly capable and experienced Carpenter’s for current opportunities in our newly acquired Newcastle Precast facility.
You will:
- Be based in Newcastle and/or surrounding areas
- Valid White Card/Construction Card
- Minimum 2 year’s experience working in the construction, mining and resource industries is preferred
- Mark and line out formwork
- Erect and disable formwork
- Interpret drawings and specifications
- Perform other general duties as required
- Recognised Australian Trade Certificate (Carpentry & Joinery) is essential
- Previous knowledge of civil construction, concrete works and steel fixing are essential along with a solid understanding of formwork carpentry
