Our current opportunity
In light of our continued growth, Civmec is currently seeking applications for an experienced Painting Supervisor to join our team. Based in Newcastle, the successful applicant will be responsible for the supervision and general inspection of painting works carried out onsite.
Key accountabilities include:
• Supervision of painting and coating works
• Performing general painting inspection duties
• Review and implementation of painting application method statements
• Regular reporting of process non-conformance, product preservation and the handling / storage of paints and consumables
• Coordination of Non-Destructive Testing
You will:
• Possess NACE Level II certification at a minimum
• Display sound knowledge of the relevant painting standards
• Demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years’ experience blasting and painting, with a further two (2) years spent in a supervisory role
