Engineer Civil Senior

Our current opportunity
Having recently been awarded a package for Civil works in Cadia Valley NSW, Civmec is currently seeking applications for highly capable and experienced Senior Civil Project Engineer for site based position. This role is available immediately
Typical duties may include:
• Managing a diverse crew across operations including civil works, and detailed trenching
• Liaising with client representatives regarding technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and coordinating deliveries
• Preparation of work schedules and material requisitions
• Review and approve technical deviation/query requests and maintain TDQR register
• Managing onsite resources including plant and equipment and accountability for material control
You will possess:
• Tertiary qualifications in structural, civil engineering or construction management
• RPEQ or Engineering Australia certification
• Previous project experience on civil construction projects ideally in the mining or oil and gas sector
• Sound knowledge of the application and establishment of project planning, scheduling and cost control tools is essential.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large scale civil construction projects
• A strong work ethic with a commitment to health and safety and a team first approach
• Have experience working on detailed trenching and HDPE piping activities
• A strong understanding of project life cycle activities and the administration experience to support a diverse area of operations
