Due to upcoming projects, Civmec is seeking a Cost Controller experienced with mining and infrastructure construction projects.
Civmec is an integrated, multi-disciplined construction and engineering services provider to the oil and gas, metals and minerals, infrastructure and defence industries across Australia.
Civmec’s capabilities include heavy engineering, modularisation, SMP and electrical installation, site civil works, precast concrete, industrial installation, offshore logistics, refractory, surface treatment and fireproofing, and maintenance services.
Due to upcoming works, Civmec is currently seeking a Cost Controller to join one of our project teams. This role is responsible for the efficient and effective management of project cost control issues.

Due to upcoming works, Civmec is currently seeking a Cost Controller to join one of our project teams. This role is responsible for the efficient and effective management of project cost control issues.
The role includes
- Preparing the Projects internal and external monthly cost, forecast and analysis reports
- Updating and monitoring cost curves, expenditures and project commitments
- Performing scheduling tasks as required
- Reviewing and consolidating project progress data
- Assisting with the analysis and challenge of package assembly estimates
- Reviewing and adjusting project control guidelines, procedures and flowcharts
- Demonstrate a minimum of three (3) years relevant experience within the metals and minerals, and infrastructure construction industries, ideally within an electrical contractor environment.
- Possess excellent relationship building, problem solving, negotiation and leadership skills
- A tertiary qualification in finance or accounting is preferred, as are advanced excel skills
