Position includes:
- Managing and supervising a fabrication project team, including performance management, safety management, workflow management, task execution and leadership
- Track project milestones and deliverables
- Develop and deliver progress reports, requirements documentation, and proactively manage changes in project scope
- Assist and oversee the planning and organisation of fabrication work for the project in the workshop ensuring job completion within time constraints
- Liaise with client representatives/Project Engineers regarding technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and coordinating deliveries
- Conduct regular inspections on buildings and materials to ensure that works are carried out according to client specifications
- Identify, assess and control workplace hazard. Hazards may be reported through hazard report cards, JHA’s, workplace inspections, incident investigations or audits.
- Proven track record in the field of project management in a fabrication environment
- Sound knowledge of the application and establishment of project planning, scheduling and cost control tools
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications
- Highly motivated individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
