In light of our continued growth, Civmec currently have a fulltime permanent opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager at our state-of-the-art waterfront fabrication workshop facility in Henderson.



Position includes:

  • Managing and supervising a fabrication project team, including performance management, safety management, workflow management, task execution and leadership
  • Track project milestones and deliverables
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, requirements documentation, and proactively manage changes in project scope
  • Assist and oversee the planning and organisation of fabrication work for the project in the workshop ensuring job completion within time constraints
  • Liaise with client representatives/Project Engineers regarding technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and coordinating deliveries
  • Conduct regular inspections on buildings and materials to ensure that works are carried out according to client specifications
  • Identify, assess and control workplace hazard. Hazards may be reported through hazard report cards, JHA’s, workplace inspections, incident investigations or audits.
About you

  • Proven track record in the field of project management in a fabrication environment
  • Sound knowledge of the application and establishment of project planning, scheduling and cost control tools
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications
  • Highly motivated individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
