Steel Fixer
Civmec is currently seeking experienced Steel Fixers for an immediate start on the Jemena Project based in the Northern Territory. This role will be a FIFO-based position on a 3:1 roster.
About the Project
The Northern Gas Pipeline (NPG) is a 622km Gas Pipeline that will run between Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory and Mt Isa in Queensland and is being constructed by Jemena. Civmec’s scope of work will include the onsite Civil works for the construction of a Gas Compression Station for the NGP.

You will possess
- Minimum one (1) year of continuous Civil Construction experience
- Experience working in the FIFO environment in remote locations
- Ability to interpret drawings (essential)
- Working at heights ticket (desirable)
- Dogman ticket (desirable)
- Construction Blue / White Card
- Flights provided to the project site
- Large resource sector experience on key infrastructure project
- Expanding portfolio of diverse work across multiple sectors
- Experienced and supportive senior management team
- A workplace that has a 'Never Assume' culture
- Strong prospects for likely, future ongoing work
