About the Role
In light of our continued growth, Civmec is currently seeking applications from highly capable and experienced Special Class Welder’s for current opportunities in our Newcastle Fabrication facility.

You will:
  • Be based in Newcastle
  • Undertake and pass all necessary weld qualifications in required weld processes
  • Sound welding exposure for welding of steel components in all positions using welding techniques including but not limited to; MMAW, FCAW, MIG & SAW
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience with similar welding processes, specifications and standards is essential
  • Sound interpretation skills with structural drawings
  • Demonstrated experience within the heavy fabrication industry
  • A strong work ethic with a commitment to health and safety and a team first approach
  • Recognized Australian Trade Certificate (Boilermaker, Metal Fabrication) is essential
  • Previous experience in workshop activities
  • Valid White Card/Construction Card
