Your opportunity -
Due to Civmec’s continued growth and expansion, we are seeking a Group HSE Manager to join our corporate headquarters in Henderson, Western Australia.
Reporting to the CEO, you will manage Civmec’s health, safety and environmental portfolio, nation-wide and be focused on providing leadership to the HSE team. The key to your success in this position will be using your influential and driven attitude while succeeding and thriving in a dynamic environment.

Civmec’s Group HSE Manager will -
    • Provide leadership, effective management and support to both the corporate and operations HSE teams.
    • Engage with senior management to assist in shaping Civmec’s future through policy, procedure and our Never Assume charter
    • Support front-line management in understanding our critical risk controls and implementing key risk reduction strategies


To succeed in this position, you must have –
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction and resources industries
  • Possess tertiary qualifications in Health Safety and Environment Management
  • Previous experience with ISO certified systems and auditing
  • Proven experience in supporting operational personnel to produce excellent safety and environmental outcomes
  • Strong communication, statistical reporting and analytical skills
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships both internally and externally
  • Capability to face challenges, organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment 
A practical, hands on background in mining, oil and gas and/or infrastructure construction projects, with knowledge of the tools and methods used will be highly regarded.
