The opportunity
Civmec is currently seeking an experienced SMP Supervisor to join one of our project teams, constructing a lithium process plant in the Pilbara. This position will be full-time for the duration of the project, FIFO from Perth on a 3:1 roster.

The opportunity
Civmec is currently seeking an experienced SMP Supervisor to join one of our project teams, constructing a lithium process plant in the Pilbara. This position will be full-time for the duration of the project, FIFO from Perth on a 3:1 roster.
As an SMP Supervisor, you will
- Oversee the construction of structural, mechanical & piping (SMP) mining components on site
- Supervise and control designated project works for all SMP duties
- Process material take-offs
- Liaise with client representatives regarding technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and coordinating deliveries
- Organise project testing requirements
- Ensure relevant field inspection checklists are completed and signed in conjunction with client representatives
- Understand and implement quality control techniques
- Tertiary qualifications in mechanical engineering or related trade
- Working at heights, Confined Space & White Card/Blue Card
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience working in the construction, mining and resource industries on large scale projects
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Work and Excel
