The opportunity –
Civmec are currently seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join our Project team, based on a construction site in the Goldfields. This role is full time for the duration of the project on a 3:1 roster FIFO from Perth. This role reports to the Senior Civil Project Engineer, working on various work fronts providing technical and engineering expertise.
The project –
This project involves the construction of a gold mine process plant, including the non-process infrastructure and associated services.

In a Civil Project Engineering role at Civmec, you will –
- Liaise with client representatives and internal stakeholders regarding technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and coordinating deliveries
- Attend operations meetings and preparation and issue weekly status reports including work schedules
- Review and approve technical deviation/query requests and maintain TDQR register
- Take timely corrective action to address any issued non-conformances and maintain company standards
- Tertiary qualifications in structural, civil engineering or construction management
- Previous project experience on installation projects ideally in the mining sector
- Proficient knowledge in MS Office suite is essential
- Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
