The opportunity

Civmec are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our Precast team based at our Newcastle Facility, NSW. This role is full time and reports to the Facility Manager.

The project

Our brand-new technology driven Precast Facility in Tomago is equipped and ready to produce complete precast concrete, including all types of pre-stressed beams for the booming NSW infrastructure industry.

In a Project Manager role at Civmec, you will

  • Manage and drive production in line with project and facility schedules
  • Support the procurement process to ensure best pricing on all levels
  • Forecast and manage project labour levels
  • Lead a dedicated project team
  • Ensure positive project budget outcomes
  • Report cost and revenue statistics directly to the Facility Manager
About You

  • Tertiary qualification in structural, mechanical, civil engineering or construction management is desirable
  • Experience with Precast Production is desirable
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience in the field of project management ideally in the Precast Fabrication
