HSE Advisor / Trainer and Assessor

The opportunity
Civmec are currently seeking a HSE Advisor with Training and Assessing experience to join our experienced project team in the construction of SMP facilities at a lithium mine near Port Hedland, WA.
This role is on a 3/1 roster, FIFO from Perth.

In a HSE Advisor / Training and Assessing role at Civmec, you will –
  • Implement, audit and conduct inspections of site specific HSE management systems
  • Assist operational teams in complying with the HSE Management system
  • Compile and issue HSE based reports (incident reports, trends analysis)
  • Conduct incident investigations and issue findings to project team and management teams as required
  • VOC High Risk and Non-High Risk Units to the required standard and level of compliance
  • Ensure continual compliance with all requirements of RTO registration when delivering training and assessment
About You –
  • Cert IV OH&S (at a minimum)
  • Current First Aid Qualification
  • Cert IV in TAE
  • High Risk Licence with WP, LF, CN, C6 or greater
  • Well developed computer skills with expertise in industry applications
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and changes in priorities
  • High level of interpersonal skills with experience in negotiation, organisation, problem solving and customer service
