The opportunity
Civmec are currently seeking a Senior Developer with UX experience to join our IT team, based at our corporate office in Henderson. This role is full time.

This role reports to the Group Manager - Business Systems, contributing to the Business Systems team through enhancement of our current software solutions.

The project –
The Senior Developer will help design solutions, recommend technology, implement code, and watch their custom developed programs come to life. To be successful, you will be a cross-functional development professional who does not shy away from undertaking a wide range of development projects. You will have a passion for UX but will also have the technical skills to build the back end.

In a Senior Developer role at Civmec, you will –
  • Be a pro-active developer with a great eye for design.
  • Play an integral role in current and future bespoke software systems working with both internal and external parties
  • Develop new features and upgrade UX of existing systems and design, develop and maintain new software systems.
About You –
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in developing bespoke software utilising the following technologies:
    • NET
    • NET web API
    • HTML, CSS, Javascript
    • SQL Server
    • Azure Cloud Services
  • Able to share examples of responsive UI / UX
  • Experience in working in an agile development environment
  • Will possess fantastic communication skills, particularly with non-technical stake holders.
  • Previous experience in engineering, fabrication or construction fields would be preferable.
