Exciting opportunity for a Junior Project Engineer with Fabrication experience to join our state of the art Construction Facility on the Coogee Coastline for approximately 3-4 months

In a Junior Project Engineer role at Civmec, you will –
- Liaise with client representatives regarding technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and coordinating deliveries
- Conduct material take-offs for mechanical, structural and piping works
- Conduct weekly meetings
- Compile and issue variations
- Assist with preparing the project budget and schedule
- Produce daily, weekly and monthly progress reports
- Possess a Mechanical Engineering or relevant Degree in a related engineering discipline
- Fabrication experience
- Minimum five years project engineering experience with a reputable SMP Contractor or EPC
- Previous site-based SMP construction experience associated with process plant facilities
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work well in a high pressure environment.
