Civmec is currently seeking an experienced QA/QC with a Structural, Mechanical, Piping backgroundfor the WP180 Alliance Project. This position will be engaged in all elements of Procurement and Construction during the Mechanical phase and will report directly to the Construction Manager.

Quality Control Mechanical Supervisor
Civmec is currently seeking an experienced QA/QC with a Structural, Mechanical, Piping backgroundfor the WP180 Alliance Project. This position will be engaged in all elements of Procurement and Construction during the Mechanical phase and will report directly to the Construction Manager.
About you:
- Mechanical background with experience in pipe installation and testing
- CSWIP level 3.1 - Advantageous
- NACE Level 1 - Advantageous
- Capable of reviewing and co-ordinating quality requirements for Mechanical & Piping workpacks
- Experience in review of Vendor, Sub-contractor and Supplier documentation including WMS, ITP’s, MDR
- In field inspections of self-performed works (particularly welding and coatings)
- Control all aspects of quality for site welding (weld procedures, welder’s qualification, weld mapping, NDT Requests, update registers and control consumables)
- Off-site inspections of welding & coatings, review of ongoing compliance to quality documentation and MDR compilation
- Raising and or Monitoring of NCR’s from inspections or documentation review
- Experience or basic knowledge with commissioning systems
- Up to 12 months work in a metropolitan location
