collapse description expand description Hertel Modern is currently seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably experienced employees to work on Maintenance & Shutdown Projects in the Oil & Gas sector.
Hertel Modern require suitable candidates for Maintenance & Shutdown Projects in the Oil & Gas Sector for the following roles;
  • 1st Class Sheet Metal Workers
  • Industrial Painter Blasters
  • Cryogenic Insulators
  • Advanced Scaffolders
These are permanent roles based on a 2&2, 2&1, 8&6 FIFO rosters from Perth. Overseas and East Coast based applicants will not be considered for these roles.
The successful applicant will demonstrate a minimum of 3 years previous experience in remote maintenance, shutdown or construction work and be willing/able to work 12hour shifts & nightshifts.
Applicants must be able to pass a comprehensive pre employment medical, and will also be required to undertake site specific project inductions & training.
Applicants are also required to hold the following certificates and /or licenses where relevant;
  • Trade Papers (SMW's & Painter/Blasters)
  • Blue/White card (all applicants)
  • Working at Heights (all applicants)
  • Advanced Scaffolding Ticket (Scaffolders)
  • Current drivers license (all applicants)
  • High Risk Work license (where applicable to specific role)
  • Rope Access (desirable)
Successful applicants will be employees who can show a dedicated & strong commitment to Health & Safety, a good understanding & adherence to Company & Client Policies/ Procedures. Are able to demonstrate a good work ethic & attitude, with a keen willingness to learn and multi-task in their role.
