CB&I has been awarded the contract for the installation of the OSBL modules on the Wheatstone Project. Located at Ashburton North, 12km west of Onslow in Western Australia the project will consist of two LNG trains with a combined capacity of 8.9 million tonnes per annum and a domestic gas plant.
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from skilled, experienced Pipe Welders to join this Project.
Accommodation: Camp accommodation on site
Point of Hire: Perth, Western Australia
Transport: Fly In/Fly Out ex Perth
Project Roster: Four weeks on, one week off, 10 hours per day, 13 day fortnight

Successful applicants will be required to meet the following requirements:
- Ability to complete a series of GTAW and SMAW weld tests on 2” and 6” pipe, using carbon and stainless steel, to 100% x-ray standard
- Experience working with FCAW and Orbital Welding equipment is highly desirable
- Experience working with pipe racks in confined spaces is advantageous
- Experience working in the oil and gas industry is advantageous; however experience across heavy industry and resources sectors is also desirable.
- Experience working on construction projects, preferably in remote locations
- The ability to work pro-actively in a safe work environment
- A strong commitment to achieving company milestones
