CB&I has been awarded a contract by Chevron Australia Pty Ltd for the liquefied natural gas (LNG) and condensate storage tanks at the Gorgon LNG liquefaction project on Barrow Island in Australia.
Due to an anticipated upcoming workload we are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified:
Pipe Fitter
4 + Years experienceExperience working on large construction projects, preferably in remote locationsEWP ticket desirableAbility to work pro-actively in a safe work environmentHave a strong commitment to achieving company mile stones

- Ability to pass three fillet weld tests using GTAW technique, using ER316L stainless steel wire, in the 2F, 3F and 4F position with visual inspection, break test, and macro testing.
- Have the ability to read and interpret technical (isometric) drawings
- Experience in the LNG process piping or heavy industry is highly regarded
- Experience / ability to work with pipe ranging in diameter from 2” to 60”
