Our current opportunity

Having recently been awarded a major package of work for a process facility in far north Queensland, Civmec is currently seeking expressions of interest from highly capable and experienced Site Administrator for FIFO-based opportunities from Brisbane or Cairns. Rosters will be on a 20:8 basis and you will ideally be based in Brisbane or Cairns (Cairns highly desirable) or be prepared to make your way to these points of hire.

Typical duties may include:
  • Flights and roster management
  • Time sheet review and coordination including a strong interface with the HR and payroll teams
  • Minute taking and meeting coordination
  • Employee mobilisation and demobilisation including supporting the site access requirements associated with subcontractors, visitors and service personnel
  • Invoice reconciliation and cost control support
  • HSE and logistics administration support
  • Adhoc stores support as required
  • Overall office management and support of project personnel
You will possess:
  • Physical fitness, strength and stamina with the ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical
  • Demonstrated experience within the construction, mining and resource industries
  • A strong work ethic with a commitment to health and safety and a team first approach
  • Have experience working in in a project environment in an administrative capacity
  • A strong understanding of project life cycle activities and the administration experience to support a diverse area of operations
  • An understanding of safety legislative requirements and a commitment to comply with Civmec’s Safe Day, Good day safety philosoph
