We are seeking a Project Manager experienced in the Production of Precast units to become part of the Team at our Project in Grafton. Key accountabilities include:
  • Implement and work to the safety and quality management systems procedures and work instructions
  • Control and coordination of execution of the project within limits of authority
  • Ensure the company's objectives and policies are adhered to
  • Encourage a culture continuous improvement of the company’s procedures
  • Attend operations meetings
  • Preparation and issue of weekly status reports
  • Maintain project files
  • Preparation of work schedules
  • Preparation of material requisitions
  • Preparation of budget estimates
  • Control project communications (i.e. correspondence, transmittals, faxes, electronic mail, etc.)
  • Review and approve the project audit schedule
  • Review and approve technical deviation/query requests and maintain TDQR register
  • Take timely corrective action to address any issued non-conformances
  • Perform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directed
You will:
  • Tertiary qualification in structural, mechanical, civil engineering or construction management is essential
  • Experience with Precast Production
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Previous experience in the field of project management ideally in the Precast Fabrication, infrastructure or construction industry
