We are seeking a Project Manager experienced in the Production of Precast units to become part of the Team at our Project in Grafton. Key accountabilities include:
- Implement and work to the safety and quality management systems procedures and work instructions
- Control and coordination of execution of the project within limits of authority
- Ensure the company's objectives and policies are adhered to
- Encourage a culture continuous improvement of the company’s procedures
- Attend operations meetings
- Preparation and issue of weekly status reports
- Maintain project files
- Preparation of work schedules
- Preparation of material requisitions
- Preparation of budget estimates
- Control project communications (i.e. correspondence, transmittals, faxes, electronic mail, etc.)
- Review and approve the project audit schedule
- Review and approve technical deviation/query requests and maintain TDQR register
- Take timely corrective action to address any issued non-conformances
- Perform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directed
- Tertiary qualification in structural, mechanical, civil engineering or construction management is essential
- Experience with Precast Production
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role is preferred
- Previous experience in the field of project management ideally in the Precast Fabrication, infrastructure or construction industry
