Our current opportunity
Civmec is currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our passionate and successfully driven Fabrication Team. Based in our Henderson workshop facility, the successful applicant will form an integral part of our Fabrication Team and will gain experience working on large-scale fabrication works for major projects across Australia.The Project Engineer role will report directly to the Project Manager. Duties will include but not be limited to;
  • Prepare method statements for fabrication works
  • Prepare work packs and organise project inspection requirements
  • Compose weekly and monthly progress reports
  • Liaise with client representatives regarding technical queries, project scheduling and coordination of deliveries
  • Attend regular progress meetings with both internal and external project stakeholders
  • Understand and implement quality control techniques
About you
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a similar position within a fabrication environment
  • Proficient knowledge of Navisworks is desirable
  • The successful applicant will demonstrate high attention to detail, proven organisational and time management skills combined with the ability to work autonomously within a high-pressure environment
