The position
Joining our Estimating team, this position will be integral in contributing to the further growth and development of Civmec’s business. This position will see you based in our Henderson head office, producing tenders for nationwide projects.
About you
You will be an experienced Estimator, with a background in the the civil construciton industry. You will have experience using first principles, and be able to multitask within a busy, high performing team. Experience working with recognised civil contractors in the construction, mining and resource industries will be highly regarded, while a Civil engineering or trade qualification is essential.

Key responsibilities will include
- Reviewing tender documentation to determine scope and specific terms and conditions
- Obtain highly competitive quotes for the provision of necessary materials and services
- Undertake accurate material take-offs and calculate man hour estimates
- Assist with construction schedule and planning to execute the project
- Developed construction methodology identifying synergies and saving
- Partake in tender reviews with senior management
- Promote the Company in all dealings with current and potential clients and actively identify and seek additional work
