Our current opportunities
In light of our continued growth, Civmec is currently seeking applications for experienced Contract Administrators to join our team on various project across Australia on a FIFO basis.
Key accountabilities include:
  • Assist Project Manager to review contractual obligations and contract templates
  • Advise client and relevant parties of notices of delay, extensions of time, subcontracts and or supplier agreements required for the project
  • Provide support to the Project Manager to prepare and forward relevant notices within designated timeframes
  • Update and maintain notices of delay and extensions of time registers
  • Notify clients of any issues, special circumstances or breaches of contract
  • Liaise with subcontractors to ensure all relevant insurances are current and legal (i.e. workers compensation)
  • Prepare contracts for suppliers and subcontractors highlighting relevant issues specific to the project
  • Revise and retain contract registers highlighting payment conditions
About you:
  • Tertiary Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar field
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role is advantageous
  • Demonstrated experience in Quantity Surveying/Contracts Administration within the civil construction industry
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
