The opportunity –
Civmec are currently seeking a Civil Estimator to join our Estimating Department. Based at our corporate offices in Henderson, WA, this position is full time.
This role will join our Civil Estimating team in supporting the further growth and development of Civmec through the application of first rate estimating skills and methods, including first principles.

In a Civil Estimator role at Civmec, you will –
- Review tender documentation to determine scope and specific terms and conditions
- Obtain highly competitive quotes for the provision of necessary materials and services
- Undertake accurate material take-offs and calculate man hour estimates
- Assist with construction schedule and planning to execute the project
- Develop construction methodology identifying synergies and saving
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar is essential
- Possess proven experience estimating for large scale civil construction and infrastructure projects
- Have a prior background in the civil construction industry
- Thrive in an agile, dynamic work environment that has a strong emphasis on outcomes
- Possess strong analytical, problem solving, organisational and project management skills
