Civmec is currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced Supervisors and Superintendents (including Civil, SMP and E & I) for future work across Australia on a FIFO basis. As a Supervisor, you will
- Assist and oversee the planning and organisation of construction works onsite
- Liaise with client representatives/Project Engineers regarding technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and coordinating deliveries
- Conduct regular inspections on buildings and materials to ensure that works are carried out according to client specifications
- Develop and review documentation necessary to facilitate work carried out
- Prepare and edit construction plans, maps, charts and drawings to client specifications
- Compose weekly progress reports
- Understand and implement quality control techniques
- Relevant trade or tertiary qualification
- Related tickets and licences (current)
- Mining and/or oil and gas construction experience is essential
- More than 5 years’ experience as a supervisor
- Developed communication and interpersonal skills
