The opportunity
Civmec is currently seeking an experienced Senior Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join our team for a fixed term maternity leave cover. This will be based at our corporate office in Henderson, Western Australia.
You will be responsible for marketing and branding, social media, and communications involving public relations.

As a Senior Marketing & Communications Coordinator, you will
  • Develop and implement integrated internal and external communication programs to support and position Civmec as an industry leader
  • Provide strategic advice and insight to assist with the development of effective government, industry, client and stakeholder relationships aligned to business priorities
  • Promote capability and competitively position Civmec to win new business
  • Preparation of Civmec marketing requirements, including annual report, half year presentation, full year presentation, AGM requirements
  • Production of Group external communications such as Group capability statements, client focused material
  • Management of Group digital marketing including updating Group and subsidiary websites
  • Co-ordination of Group events and major sponsorships nationally including staff Christmas parties, corporate lunches, Perth Arena suite and other events.
  • Preparation of press releases and media liaison
  • Assist operating subsidiaries with marketing, communications, branding, sponsorship, events and external affairs where required.
About You
  • A tertiary qualification in Marketing/Public Relations/Communication discipline
  • Practical experience in developing marketing collateral, corporate communications, events management and media relations for a medium to large organisation
  • Ability to execute marketing and communications strategies, engaging both internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient knowledge in MS Office suite, Adobe Creative and WordPress
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
