collapse description expand description Civmec are currently seeking an experienced Supervisor with extensive Coke Oven and Maintenance experience, to join our busy Refractory division initially based in Kwinana, with responsibilities across a range of exciting projects.

Our current opportunity

Civmec are currently seeking an experienced Supervisor with extensive Coke Oven and Maintenance experience, to join our busy Refractory division initially based in Kwinana, with responsibilities across a range of exciting projects.

Key Accountabilities include:
  • Oversee the construction of refractory structures and linings
  • Supervise and control designated project works for all maintenance and refractory duties
  • Liaise with client representatives regarding technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and coordinating deliveries
  • Reviewing Drawings and preparation of Schedules for completion of works
  • Ensure relevant field inspection checklists are completed and signed in conjunction with client representatives
  • Organise project testing requirements, compose weekly progress reports and process material take-offs
You will:
  • Hold a Trade qualification in refractory installation
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, with extensive coke oven construction & maintenance experience in the shutdown enviroment
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
