Our current opportunity
Civmec are currently seeking an experienced Supervisor with extensive Coke Oven and Maintenance experience, to join our busy Refractory division initially based in Kwinana, with responsibilities across a range of exciting projects.
Key Accountabilities include:
- Oversee the construction of refractory structures and linings
- Supervise and control designated project works for all maintenance and refractory duties
- Liaise with client representatives regarding technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and coordinating deliveries
- Reviewing Drawings and preparation of Schedules for completion of works
- Ensure relevant field inspection checklists are completed and signed in conjunction with client representatives
- Organise project testing requirements, compose weekly progress reports and process material take-offs
- Hold a Trade qualification in refractory installation
- Possess a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, with extensive coke oven construction & maintenance experience in the shutdown enviroment
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Expanding portfolio of diverse work across multiple industries in a range of national locations
