The opportunity –
Civmec are currently seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to join our Newcastle team, based at the Tomago Facility in NSW.

This role is on a full-time basis and reports to the Project Manager, contributing to the Commercial team.

In a Senior Contracts Administrator role at Civmec, you will 
• Support your project team to ensure the successful delivery of the commercial and contractual management aspects of all projects
• Review of tender documentation and identification of pre-contract risks, including preparation of CRA’s
• Prepare and review corporate contracts, head contracts and subcontract
• Liaise with company procurement, risk management and audit personnel
• Conduct commercial and legal negotiations with contractors
• Review contractual commitments and interpretation of rights and obligations and assess claims made under contracts by or against the business
• Maintain lessons learnt register & Contracts Register
• Be aware of potential commercial risks and advise the Project accordingly
• Manage client and subcontractor variations, contractual claims and reporting

About You –
• Tertiary Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or Commerce
• 4+ years’ contracts experience within resource and mining construction projects
•Ability to establish effective working relationships both internally and externally
•Capability to face challenges, organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment
•Exceptional communication and analytical skills
