The opportunity

Looking for a change of scenery? Civmec are currently seeking a Precast Production Manager to join our pre-cast team, based at our brand-new facility in Tomago, Newcastle.

This role contributes to the manufacture of reinforced concrete products of all sizes and complexities through managing the personnel and production of the precast facility

In a Precast Production Manager role at Civmec, you will

  • Work as a part of a self-starting and driven team
  • Execute pre-tensioning concrete works through detailed planning and day-to-day
  • Manage labour levels, forecasting and acquisition
  • Develop, implement and manage QA/QC processes to exceed the projects and client expectations
  • Assist tender and estimating process at all levels
  • Develop and implement methodologies to achieve project objectives and timeframes
About You

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a complex pre-tensioned concrete
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in the precast industry
  • Industry understanding and knowledge of relevant Australian Standards & Regulations
  • Having a highly collaborative and negotiation style, you will possess the ability to influence at ground through to senior executive level
  • Be flexible and adaptable in your approach as you adjust to the changing demands of our industry
  • Analytical and critical thinking capabilities, together with strong commercial and financial acumen are essential
  • Possess strong problem solving, organisational and project management skills
